School Lunches

Cooked School Meals
Caterlink provide a school meals service to Surrey schools, including St John's C of E Primary School. Their website caterlinkltd.co.uk features sample menus, tips on healthy eating, and contact details.

Our passionate school kitchen team not only provide a nutritious and hot meal every day for your child, but made with quality ingredients, using UK produce (80%), having 30 different menu items to choose from in 3 weeks rotation, sourced responsibly with the Earth in mind. It takes the hassle off your shoulders, gives you free time and it’s all for FREE (Reception, KS1 and UIFSM or FSM) or for less than a latte, only £2.75 for KS2.

Does your child have a food allergy? Need a special diet? It is not a problem. Please inform us of any allergies with an accompanying doctor’s letter to confirm any requirements. The Special Diet Request Form is attached.

All our pupils are supervised whilst eating and are gently encouraged to eat their lunch. If your child appears to be having any difficulty with their food at midday we will let you know. Equally if you have any concerns about how they are eating please do come and speak to us.

Packed Lunches
Our children have the option to eat a cooked school meal at lunchtime or bring a packed lunch from home.
